Cognitive Function
Exercise and meditation improve brain plasticity and connectivity. This means exercise enhances connectivity between different brain regions, particulary in areas involved in memory, attention and executive function.
Increase Confidence
Strength training and pilates improve muscle tone and posture. Increased muscle tone and posture can increase confidence as a result of positive body language observed both internally and externally.

Studies show that yoga and meditation can regulate hormones and calm the nervous system. This includes the reduction of stress hormones such as cortisol and release of ‘feel good’ hormones such as endorphins
