5 Day Pilates Fundamentals Series

Learn the alignment fundamentals of the Classical Pilates practice. Our key focus in this series is understanding the rib to hip connection in a supine position as many pilates exercises depend on having a good understanding of your spinal alignment whilst engaging various muscles. Without a good understanding of the correct spinal alignment, many of the pilates exercises will unsuccessful so this is key! We start with the basic and build on this in each class. If you feel you get to a class which is beyond your ability; a sign of this is not being able to keep to the same alignment, then continue to take the first classes to build your strength and foundation. You can make a natural progression when you feel stronger. Have a lovely series!
